  • Ewan Mckenzie, (son of Alexander (Snr) Mckenzie and Flora McKinnon) b. 26 or 23 -11-1830 in Isle of Skye, Scotland, baptised 25.12.1830 Sleat, Inverness. Don MacKenzie wrote in “Over the Sea from Skye” that he had been unable much location information on Ewan, and that he was believed to have never married. Reviewing Don MacKenzie’s work, and researching with 21st Century on-line resources has not revealed any more information nearly 20 years after Don wrote of his “brick wall” with Ewan, other than details of his birth and baptism in FamilySearch.Ewen McKenzie baptism 1830
